| DVD Logo Manual
has been updated in February 2007. The revised version incorporates
the addition of Logo with Mark for 'Empty Case for DVD-RAM (4.7Gbyte)
Disc,' together with updates on Format Book version numbers,
etc. The revised DVD Logo Manual (Version 3.1) is effective
from February 28, 2007.
DVD Logo Manuals are created
for the use by DVD Format/Logo Licensees
of Product Category I (discs) or Product Category II (hardware
/ PC software), and by Licensees' Affiliates and advertising
partners that require such information.
The revised Logo Manual has been distributed to the Contact
Persons of applicable Licensees that hold Product Category
I or II License. If you are the Contact Person of such Licensee,
please return the Acknowledgement of Receipt that was included
in the e-mail. However, if you have not received the revised
Logo Manual via E-mail (even though when you are the Contact
Person), please contact license@dvdfllc.co.jp,
or send us fax (+81-3-5777-2884) with your correct e-mail
address, and ask for the Logo Manual (Version 3.1). We request
that all License or Logo related communications from a Licensee
be made by its Contact Person, to avoid any miscommunications.
If Licensees, their Affiliates or advertising partners hold
former version of the DVD Logo Manual (Version 3.0), we request
that they are replaced with this current Version.
Let us remind the Licensees at this time that the Verification
of First Production Model is necessary
in order to affix the DVD Logo onto your DVD Products.
